Blaming myself..

Baik.
“Agree.” Minn angguk. “So, apa dia punya definition of ‘baik’? Kerusi ditarik sebelum dia duduk.
“Definition dia mudah je. Sesiapa yang beriman dengan Allah tu ‘baik’.”
Dahi Minn sedikit berkerut. “Maksud?”
Jasmin meluruskan telunjuk kanannya. “Lepas tu dia tanya balik, ‘beriman dengan Allah tu macam mana?”. Dia kata ‘apabila kita buat semua benda yang Allah suruh dan tinggalkan benda yang Dia larang, tu baru namanya ‘baik’.”
“Amar makruf nahi mungkar.” Minn menyambung.
“Betul.”
“Contoh?”
“Hmm…” Jasmin menggosok dagu cuba mengingat. “Ingat al-Baqarah 208?” Dia memandang Minn.
“Masuklah ke dalam Islam secara seluruhnya.”
Spontan Minn menjawab. Memang ingat ayat tu. Sebab selalu disebut dalam waktu sesi-sesi perkongsian.

“Addin.” Minn sengih.
“Tau tak pe.” Jasmin turut mengukir sengih. “Addin tu way of life. Cara hidup. Maka…”
“Kalau cukup solat tapi tak pakai tudung, tak cukup baik lagi…” Minn membuat kesimpulan.
“Dan kalau pakai tudung tapi tak solat pun tak cukup baik lagi…” Jasmin menyambung. “pakai tudung tapi pakai short sleeves nampak lengan, pun kira tak cukup balik lagi. Pakai tudung tapi pakai baju ketat jarang berbayang, pun tak kira cukup baik lagi. Kena fikir balik. Dengan sekadar cukup pakai tudung, pakai baju lengan panjang, tu dah dikira baik? Macam mana pulak kalau baju tu form-fitting dan selendang pulak jarang sampai nampak bayang batang leher, nampak anak rambut. Tak jadi la tu. Maknanya selagi tak embrace Islam tu sepenuhnya, tak cukup baik lagi la tu.”
“Hmm…” Minn memutar sudu di tangan.
“Hukum Tuhan. Siapa kita nak membangkang. Takkan nak menangkan vouge fashion terkini lawan dengan hujah hukum kut.”
“True.” Minn mengiakan.
“It’s not about buat baik dulu or pakai tudung dulu. It’s about masuk ke dalam Islam secara total. Then THAT is ‘baik.” Jasmin mengangguk.
Minn melepas nafas perlahan dengan senyum tawar. “Tapi tu la. Definisi ‘baik’ di Malaysia, lain.”

For him, the beloved one..
The stone pebble and the soil under his feet gentle
Grateful, delighting in every moment treaded.
To the cave of light, soul eager as he retreated:
Read! The Arch Angel commanded.
In the name of thy Lord, read!
The stone pebble and the soil under his feet gentle
To all the world a mercy
Never for a moment severe
The rowdy with mildness he did amend.
Modest traveler for whom this world
a place of sacrifice sufficed
While the world under his feet pined
His own shoes he mended.
Piety he wore
Poverty with pride chose
In His Name!
In His Name!
He gave up himself
And all he had.
In His Name! In His Name!
All night long, supplicating
All night long, supplicating
All night long, in the Lord's way, a servant.
This son of Makka did ascend
To the Heavens in person did ascend;
An eye-witness to a glory awesome
Yet on earth moved he gentle.
The exalted character the Majesty crowned
The hand of God a spirit perfected.
Beloved of the Loving One
And all those that walk upright.
The souls he stirred
With happiness shined
The ideal nation did evolve
Under this builder of the hearts.
Let the ignorant say what may
It's lack of nearness,
Not knowledge
That feeds on lies promulgated.
Know him, you shall love him
The most praised
Between heaven and earth
His name's daily repeated:
Muhammad!
Mohamoud!
Ahmed!
Yaa Mustafa!
Your name's with the Lord's joined;
A celebration in the Heavens echoed.
From minarets and on mountain tops
In deep valleys and on the sailing ships
In needy hearts
And wherever the Lord resides
Your name's praised, Yaa Ahmed!
At the heights of fame and power
His tears of compassion
The lowest on heavenly wings
To the Heavens soared.
Proud protector of women
Orphaned child and baby-girl…
A community of justice for all he founded
Slave and master in fellowship joined
Under his care all hearts rejoiced.
In the way of God he marched
Liberator of the sinner
In shinning armor fought he evil, relentless
In the face of corrupting forces, undaunted.
Those who find fault with Ahmed
Far removed are they
From the person praised.
Sad indeed is the soul that disregards or
distances itself from this lamp of God.

Don't worry..
Worry Ends
Don’t be saddened by what you see
By all the lies and treachery
Life is cruel but don’t worry
In your heart lies the key
To unwind all the secrets
Of this life we see
When you feel you’ve lost it all
When you don’t know who’s your friend or foe
You wonder why you’re so alone
Worry ends when faith begins
Don’t be sad by what you see
It’s true life has its miseries
But one thing’s always worked for me
Worry ends when faith begins
Don’t be saddened by what you see
I know life can be crazy
A showcase of hypocrisy
In the form of piety
It’s just one big mystery
For you and me
I found my peace deep within
Calling inside
Follow what you feel is right
So trust your heart go ahead
Don’t lose sight
Follow that voice deep inside
When you feel you’ve lost it all
When you don’t know who’s your friend or foe
You wonder what you’re so alone
Worry ends when faith begins
Don’t be sad by what you see
It’s true life has it’s miseries
But one thing’s always worked for me
Worry ends when faith begins
If you’re weak it’s not a crime
Don’t you know it’s blessing in disguise
To know who’s honest and who spread lies
Worry ends when faith begins
Don’t be sad by what you see
It’s true life has it’s miseries
But one thing’s always worked for me
Worry ends when faith begins~
